Divine Sanction for Analytical World: Mass Spectrometry and Chromatography

Mass spectrometry is a revolution to the analytical world which have boosted up the analytical market due to its wonderful characteristic of quantitative and qualitative determination. Mass spectrometry has made the analysis very simpler and broader by its superior feature which is irreplaceable. Mass spectrometry plays its role in every stage of analysis and is the major tool in every field from medicine to agriculture. In tumorigenesis, role of histidine phosphorylation is the most recent experiment. Histidine phosphorylation is the hidden phosphoproteome. When 12 tumours are proteomically analysed by mTOR-driven hepatocellular carcinoma mouse, it was observed from the model that NME1 & NME2 mammalian kinase were coordinated. At variance specifically in the tumours the expression of the putative histidine phosphatase was de-regulated. It was demonstrated that LHPP is absolutely protein histidine phosphatase. In the liver tumours the global histidine phosphorylation was remarkably upregulated in the observation. Reduction of tumour burden was observed in the hepatic expression of LHPP in the hepatocellular carcinoma mouse and block the deficiency of the liver function. It was concluded that low expression of LHPP associated with the elevated tumour acerbity and diminished total survival in the patients with hepatocellular carcinoma. Therefore, LHPP is a tumour suppressor and protein histidine phosphatase that decontrol histidine phosphorylation is oncogenic.
This observation was successful only by the aid of mass spectrometry. Researchers are very thankful for this analytical tool  that had bloomed up the research and their modification. SOLICITATION OF IONIZATION TECHNIQUE IN MASS SPECTROMETRY There are many ionization techniques combined with Mass spectrometry.  Electron impact (EI) and  Fast Atom Bombardment (FAB) are the classical ionization technique used mainly by the chemist.
