SOLICITATION OF IONIZATION TECHNIQUE IN MASS SPECTROMETRY There are many ionization techniques combined with Mass spectrometry.  Electron impact (EI) and  Fast Atom Bombardment (FAB) are the classical ionization technique used mainly by the chemist.
